Pathway 1 – Did not take or was not successful with Pharmacist Evaluating Examination
Pharmacist Document Evaluation is valid for 5 years, if not successful with Pharmacist Qualifying Examination – Part I (MCQ) within 5 years, Document Evaluation expires
Pharmacist Qualifying Examination – Part I (MCQ)
Required to be successful with Part I (MCQ) before eligible to take Part II (OSCE)
Once successful with Part I (MCQ) Pharmacist Document Evaluation does not expire, however, photo from Document Evaluation is valid for 5 years
If photo is expired or will expire before next exam, complete Photo Renewal
Pharmacist Qualifying Examination – Part II (OSCE)
Once successful with Part I (MCQ), eligible to take Part II (OSCE)
Successfully complete Part I (MCQ) and Part II (OSCE) within three years of each other
If Part I (MCQ) was successfully completed more than three years ago, need to retake and be successful with Part I (MCQ) again, before eligible to apply for Part II (OSCE).

Pathway 2 – Successful with Pharmacist Evaluating Examination
Document Evaluation does not expire
Photo from Document Evaluation is valid for 5 years
If photo is expired or will expire before next exam, complete Photo Renewal.
Pharmacist Evaluating Examination
Successful by the October 2026 Pharmacist Evaluating Examination
(October 2026 Exam results released on November 5, 2026)
Can apply for Pharmacist Qualifying Examination Part I (MCQ) and/or Part II (OSCE)
If never attempted Part II (OSCE) before, can apply for Part II (OSCE). If previously unsuccessful with Part II (OSCE), required to be successful with Part I (MCQ) before being eligible to apply for Part II (OSCE) again. See OSCE Eligibility.
Successfully complete Part I (MCQ) and Part II (OSCE) within three years of each other
